Pajamas & Lipstick was xoNecole’s signature event series that redefined the art of gathering. Created to offer women of color a space beyond networking—one rooted in vulnerability, joy, and sisterhood—it brought the nostalgia of girls’ nights in to life through fireside chats, unfiltered conversations, and curated experiences around beauty, wellness, sex, and self-discovery. What started as a bold experiment in connection evolved into a cultural moment, bridging the divide between career and community, and reminding women that real conversations never go out of style.

We shaped the voice of a growing cultural moment—evolving Pajamas & Lipstick from a small, intimate gathering into a branded experience, pitchable series, and immersive event platform. Across three years, we brought the story to life through evocative copy, pitch decks, show bibles, and curated messaging that translated connection into strategy. From scripting episodes for Facebook Watch to laying the early narrative groundwork that would eventually lead to brand partnerships like Prime Video’s Harlem featuring actor Tyler Lapley, every word was designed to hold both softness and scale—making pleasure not just the product, but the point.
